Current time based on your device clock. Offsets and DST come from IANA time-zone data for each moment.
How it works
Each clock shows the current time from your device clock, converted to the city's IANA time zone. The offset (for example UTC+05:30) and DST status are computed for this exact moment, so they change automatically when a zone switches between standard and daylight time.
Clocks tick once a second without re-rendering the page, and pause while the tab is hidden. Choose 12- or 24-hour time and whether to show seconds. Your list isn't stored anywhere — use Copy link to keep or share it.
Worked example
At one instant — 05:12:18 UTC on 7 October 2026 — the default clocks read:
- Chennai 10:42:18 AM · IST · UTC+05:30 · Asia/Kolkata
- London 6:12:18 AM · BST · UTC+01:00 · Europe/London
- New York 1:12:18 AM · EDT · UTC-04:00 · America/New_York
- Sydney 4:12:18 PM · AEDT · UTC+11:00 · Australia/Sydney
London and New York are on daylight saving time; Sydney has just started its own (southern-hemisphere) DST; Chennai never changes.
Edge cases handled
- Southern-hemisphere DST (Sydney, Auckland) runs during the northern winter.
- Abbreviations are hints only: IST, CST and BST each mean different things in different places.
- Cities that share a zone (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle) always agree.
- Accuracy depends on your device clock — Time doesn't claim atomic or NTP time.
